Winter. Just when you think it's over...

Just when we thought winter was over, we were slammed with another foot of snow.
Honestly, this has got to be the end of it... right?

Now that the clocks have sprung forward, and the melting of the snow is proceeding as it should, I had hopes of painting outside. But alas, it's too darned wet.

This setup was meant to be a still-life of happy spring colors. Rose medallion dish, peony, simple cloth backdrop. But I kept seeing the palette getting hotter and hotter, and heck, I just went with it.

As long as it doesn't snow again, I'll get my shot at Spring colors next weekend.
