Gus has the right idea...
Find a comfy place in the studio, take a deep breath, and settle in for a few hours.

For me that can mean painting, setting up to paint, cleaning up after painting, or taking inventory. For Gus and Gracie, it's the chair or the dog bed, in that order.

Some days, if I get in there first, I claim the chair and I'll try to do a little work on my laptop. It's not easy- I need to be faster than two very competitive Labrador Retrievers, and it doesn't happen very often.

My excuse is that it's hard to run with a cup of cold brewed ice coffee in one hand and a fistful of newly washed brushed brushes in the other. There are days when I reach for the yellow towel which supposedly keeps dog hair off of "my" chair, only to see a pair of amber eyes staring up at me mournfully, and I give in. I have work to do, after all. Work that is easier to do with my studio dogs nearby.
