Now that I've gone to all the trouble of setting up a website, creating a bog and making sure I have the stuff necessary to paint 30 paintings in as many days, well here I am. Wondering what to paint.
It being New Year's Eve and all, I am thinking about party shoes, sparkly jewelry, and perfume.
Auld Lang Syne!
That's it, I'm going to paint objects that evoke memories I hold dear to me.
Turns out, I have a very talented and web-minded college student of my own.
Hally sat down at my computer and hammered out the Facebook/website link I had been struggling with.
In fact, she's responsible for most of what was accomplished yesterday. We hit one tiny roadblock, but with a little help from Leslie Saeta's Webinarts, that turned out to be no problem at all.
Today's mission: put some fancy buttons onto my website. (Sans Hally...!)
I am, as they say, up for a challenge.
Leslie Saeta's "30 paintings in 30 days" challenge, to be exact.
Never having attempted to commit to daily painting, this should be interesting. The first order of business is to create a blog- that is one of Leslie's requirements for participation. Day 1 of the challenge is on the second of January, so with luck I'll have this sorted out in time.
and send any web-minded college students my way.
I'm gonna need all the help I can get.
