The 30 in 30 Challenge: Day 28

"What day is it...?"
That's not an unusual question for me to be asking these days.
I find that working for myself, from my home studio, means that things like the MLK holiday can really throw me off my game. As do the weekends, so I'm working on a way for me to respect/enjoy the notion of actual time off. As in, Away From The Easel. Far easier said than done.

Last week, a troupe of painters descended on our house, their mission being to remove all signs of the horrible ice damage we have from last years snow storms. It's been a revelation: our house looks amazing and it's spirit renewed. Clearing the furniture out of each room has been tough, but now that we have,  I've sworn to only bring back the pieces I love. The fate of the rejects has yet to be decided.
Purging is good for the soul.

With all of this starting at 7am every morning, my days are long. I have been hard pressed to paint as much as I'd like, so I'm posting a work in progress. It's the bouquet of an especially lucky bride, one who had an especially gifted floral designer.  If you happen to know of a bride-to-be who will have a bouquet that ought to be remembered, please send her my way. I can't tell you how much I love painting these beauties!
To be continued...

What a super neat idea and so far the work in progress is Looking good. Took your advice and got an Apple, some very intuitive and other parts a learning curve but am sure I am going to love it. However it pretty much derailed my 30 day challenge. Oh well there is September I hope
