The 30 in 30 Challenge: Day 1

One great thing about a challenge to do 30 paintings in 30 days is that every day starts with a goal. To paint, post and write about a single painting.
This time round, I'm going to focus on landscapes. Plein air studies, studio paintings, and some abstradts.
Please comment with your thoughts and suggestions, I really appreciate them all.
This painting started off as a color study and evolved into a 12 x 12 abstract.

Love the colors! I also am trying abstract landscapes. Abstract is a big jump for me, but it's fun trying.
