Peonies...

What a beautiful day in Boston. 
Given the fact that we are the only state to have the day designated as a holiday, I decided to celebrate by painting my favorite flower, the luscious pink peony.

The day turned out to be different than what was expected, as you know. Mr. Rogers said that in times of trouble, you should look for the helpers. We have many, many fine helpers here in Boston. Today I saw them everywhere I looked.
