The 30 in 30 Challenge: Day 3

Yesterday the sun was shining and the air clear and crisp. I drove out into the nearby countryside, and came across this field which was just begging to be painted. Once again, a quick study plein air, and then back into the studio to work it out.
Having just been at the site, I found it harder to abstract than the first two paintings... perhaps a bit of time and space is necessary to loosen the representational strings.
