Day 3 of the Challenge, Day 1 of my new life...

Since yesterday was the last day of work, I'm figuring a few things out rather quickly.

Turn off the phone: Easy to say, hard to do. I have to ignore the screen lighting up and the phone vibrating. Working on that.

Start early: As I taught my kids when they were in school, it's easier to keep up than to catch up. My new mantra!

Schedule all errands and appointments for one, and only one, day of the week. I will forever more be that person who says "do you have any openings on Tuesday afternoons? Tuesday is the only day I can do it."

So today, I painted early, made it a small one, and I'm now running off to an appointment.

But from now on, it's going to have to be scheduled on a Tuesday. That's the only day I'll have open.

Yiu go girl, it will take a while to decompress but you will find out it is ok to do nothing, the world won't end. Pretty color and nice brushwork

I imagined I'd have some free time, but I'm so busy I hardly have time to ponder.
Got to work on setting aside some time to just think a bit, you know?

Margaret- lovely painting and start to the 30 in 30. I'm excited to hear more about your venture to paint full time after leaving your job. I have to admit I'm jealous!
