Day 2 of 30

Well, I've gone from a landscape to flowers in a day. I think it's going to be a potpourri of subjects this month.

I've reached "that age" where I am going to quite a few weddings. The most wonderful people are finding one another- and resulting in a number of joyful, beautiful celebrations. The flowers, especially, take my breath away. And I long to paint them.

Rather than the bridal bouquet, this little portrait is of the bridesmaid's bouquet. And I'm sending it to her as a gift.
