Today, I choose pears. One pear to be exact.
There were others, but they just didn't seem to want to be grouped, no matter how hard I tried to arrange them.
So this pear and I went in search of a proper partner for the painting, and what we came up with was a inverted Rose Medallion bowl.

You can't always expect objects, or people for that matter, to pair up with the expected. That's what makes a composition interesting, and for me (and the pear), it was the turquoise underside of the bowl that attracted our attention. That and the deadline to make a decision and get painting!
