Day 17 of 30

Working all day and painting "after hours" is a challenge during this 30 Day Challenge. Sometimes you just have to be ... flexible.

Rather than think that I have been slacking off this week, I prefer to say that I've been taking care of myself. Sleep is as essential to good painting as brushes or paint.

This morning, the sun was shining and I hit the studio, coffee in hand. Working on a few ideas for my friend, Ella. Her mother thinks that birch trees would be just the thing to hang in Ella's bedroom. I'll show her this study, and we will have to see what Ella has to say about that.
