First, apologies for the glare from the wet paint.
I got a late start on this one, and had to make do with what I had.

Departing from my usual approach, my goal tonight was to paint loose. I'm pretty happy with the results, although I do have plans to revisit some of the pink roses.

For a painter who never thought a whole lot about painting florals, I find myself transfixed. When this challenge is over, I plan on doing some large, very large, paintings of flowers. I keep sketching enormous bouquets, cascading arrangements, and massive hedges of wild roses... by November I'll either be dedicated or done with the subject matter.
Either way, I'll let you know.

Margaret....your work is beautiful. I love your flowers and the looseness of this is done so well.
