Day 14 of 30

Day 14 is almost Day 15, which is halfway done. So today is the day I am almost but not quite halfway through the challenge!

I never expected this to be such a hot little number. I have to admit, I had my doubts about it, and lost my way a time or two... you can't imagine how hard a time I have concentrating on the anatomy of a flower.
But once I started on the stamens, it was SO MUCH FUN!

The depth of this bloom is great. It's a challenge to get reds to stay vibrant and keep them from getting muddy. Well done!

It's true, the reds are humbling. For whatever reason, I can't seem to stay away from them this week. Must be the change of weather...
