Day 1

Location: Wyoming 2013
This painting is what I hope will be the first in a series of studies done in places of beauty. My plan isn't to paint only landscapes this month... in fact I'm hoping to do some portraits so that I can hit the ground running when I travel to Scottsdale in about four weeks time. More about that adventure later, for now this is a start.

A snowstorm that's been named Hercules is about to hit Boston,so  it could be a productive few days in the studio. Luckily, I have those battery operated Christmas candles in every window of the house… could be interesting to work with that light. I'll let you know how it goes.
